Kayak Adventures provides guided nature kayak tours on waterways in North Carolina. We want you to get outdoors, exercise, have fun and see something in a small group situation (12 or less). What will you see? In the spring you will have the opportunity to see an active eagles nest or visit a great blue heron nesting area where a creek enters Jordan lake. Ospreys nest here as well. In the summer we will offer sunset and full moon paddles to an island where there will be a campfire, smores and swimming. In the fall one can appreciate the fall colors as they reflect off the glassy afternoon waters while exploring the eagle management area looking for eagles, egrets, kingfisher, cormorant and osprey. One may see beavers and the lodges where they live as well as the dams they construct. Turtles often sun on logs and clouds form wonderful patterns in the sky. To dwell amoung the beauties and mysteries of nature makes all else fade away. Come on out and see! TRIPS OFFERED ON WEEKENDS IN SPRING, SUMMER AND FALL. PRIVATE OUTINGS AND PARTIES CAN BE ARRANGED ON SUNDAY AFTERNOONS OR WEEKDAY EVENINGS.
